WillowBend Farm announces their 4th Annual Run For Their Freedom 5k and 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Greenway Park in Cleveland from 6-11 p.m.
This year they have made a "subtle, but significant" event name change from Run For Her Freedom to Run For Their Freedom. This name change has been done in order to better represent the victims of sexual exploitation and human trafficking of both gender camps.
"Run For Their Freedom is a 5k night race and 1 mile walk to shed light on human trafficking and bring awareness to the reality of it in our area," organizers said. "This event is not only a fundraiser for WillowBend Farms, but an educational opportunity for the surrounding community as well. Join us in raising awareness for this issue, get connected with an organization that is providing restoration to survivors of human trafficking and enjoy some physical activity."
