Fulghum, Glen

Glen Fulghum, 70, of Middle Valley, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at his home. He was retired crew chief in the United States Army, after 20 years of service during Desert Storm and Korea. Glen loved riding his motorcycle and hanging out with his friends; he still enjoyed working on helicopters, even after retirement.

He was preceded in death by sister, Carla Wright; brother, Kenneth Fulghum; and parents, John Fulghum and Oreida Riggs.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Kelley and Shiela Fulghum, of Soddy-Daisy; brother, Doug Fulghum, of Georgia; two grandsons, Nathan (Crystal) Shelton, of Cleveland and Kenneth Fulghum, of Dayton; two great-grandchildren, Ashton and Karrah Shelton, of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will meet at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. for a graveside ceremony with full military honors.
