  • Wednesday, October 13, 2021
Crystal Renee “Chris” Walling, passed away on September 29, 2021.

She was a graduate of Red Bank High School. Crystal loved reading, music and her Boston terriers, Oscar, Olivia, Moe, Kim and Roger. She loved Flamingos- lots of Flamingos!

She grew up in the Sawyer Community on Signal Mountain, attending Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church, where she made many lifelong friends. Crystal was kind and truly loved her friends whole heartedly. If Crystal sent you a text, you knew it would probably be a “novel.” She was the self-proclaimed “Grammar Police,” because we all know the importance of good grammar.

Survivors include her parents, James and Karen Walling; daughter, Miya Mohr; fiancé, Lonnie Curtis; her Boston terriers, Oscar, Olivia, Moe, Kim and Roger; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Crystal is also survived by many friends, who she dearly loved.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry McNabb officiating.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Hwy. 153 in Hixson.
