Janie Renee Foster Earls, 59, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. 

She was born on Dec. 15, 1962, in Kensington, Ga., to the late Ecclesiastes (Cleaster) Foster, Sr. and Bettie Lou Mathis Foster.  She was educated in the Walker County School system and was a member of Chandler Chapel Baptist Church. Renee was a former manager at Krystal’s Restaurant and retired from Buehler’s Market. She enjoyed football “Dallas Cowboys”, Karate movies and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Earls; father, Ecclesiastes Foster, Sr.; mother, Bettie Lou Mathis Foster; brother, Cleaster Foster Jr; sister, Tabitha Foster and nieces, Jamila Foster and Jamilan Foster.

She is survived by her loving children, daughters, Kristie Foster, Charity (David) Dixon; sons, Jonathan (Kawana) Foster and Tarus Earls; all of Chattanooga Tn. Also left to cherish her precious memories are her grandchildren; family friend, Claude Mills (father of Jonathan and Charity); aunts, Mamie Mathis, Carolyn Mathis, Eula Mathis McLin, Sarah Foster, Tessie Foster, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, in the chapel at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
