Carolyn Alexander
Carolyn “Frosty” Alexander, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2021, at her residence.
She was a 1970 graduate of Howard High School and later attended McKenzie College. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alexander, Jr.; father, Aggie Richardson; grandparents, James and John Lue Daniels; sisters, Gloria Beck and Barbara Beck.
Survivors include her mother, Helen Beck; sons, Antwan (Natasha) Alexander and Charles (Brooke) Alexander; aunt, Leola Richardson; grandchildren, Shakia, Keorra, Antwan, Terence, Jade, Arya, and Trinity Alexander; great-grandchildren, Amir Hyter and Nova Waller; nieces, Jennifer Beck, Nicole Bell, Melicha Calhoun, Tijuana (Lonnie) Terry, and Melisha Beck; nephew, Carlton Bell; a host of great-nieces; great-nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Carolyn will lie in state on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct. 21, at noon in the chapel with Pastor Ernest L. Reid, Jr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
