Euna Belle Rhyne Geeter
Euna Belle Rhyne Geeter, age 94, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
She was born on April 5, 1927 in Weston, Texas to the late James McKinley Rhyne and Pearl Etta Vester Rhyne. She was married to the late Brother Fred A. Geeter who was the former pastor of the West Fifth Street Church of Christ where her and family guided the church family to build on a firm foundation of love and faith concerned for their fellowman. She was preceded by her sons, Benjamin Joseph Geeter, Fred Ralph Geeter, Sr., and Cleo Jeremiah Geeter.
Survivors are her loving family, daughter, Freda Lynne (Jimmy) Watkins; son, John Roy Geeter, of Summerville, Georgia; grandchildren, Nicole (Kent) Perry, Janna (Christopher) Moore, Fred Ralph Geeter, Jr., Angel (Gary) Grandison, Shawnterri Geeter, Alphonso Knowles; adopted children, Katherine Russell, Shelly Daniel; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; daughter-in-law, Hattie Geeter; a host of other relatives, and friends, and the West Fifth Street Church of Christ Church family.
Graveside service and interment will be on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m. at the Summerville Cemetery, Summerville, Georgia with Brother John Lewis and other ministers with words of comfort.
