Jeffrey McElrath
Jeffrey Leon McElrath, 65, passed away on September 30, 2021, in Chattanooga.
He was a graduate of Riverside High School. He served in the United States Army. Jeffrey was the former owner of The Shoe Renewry in downtown Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his father, Minister Buford McElrath.
He leaves to cherish his memories, fiancée, Angelena Carter; mother, Doris McElrath; two brothers, Allen McElrath, and Eric (Cassandra) McElrath; sister, Minister Angela (Duane) Clark, Las Vegas, NV; aunts, Rosie Lee Sims, Florinda Callaway, Norma Johnson, and Virginia Jo Jones, all of Chattanooga, Leila (Henry) Lumpkins, of Lauderhill, Fl., Irene Parker, Summerville, and Sadie McElrath, Anniston, Al.; uncle, Reginald (Maebell) Cousin, of Flintstone; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; god sisters Kathy Sligh, of Chattanooga and Lorraine Wimberly, of Atlanta.
Public viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at the funeral home.
An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 22, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
