Delilah Ann Horton
Delilah Ann Horton, 72, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 18, 2021.
Delilah attended Rossville High School, was a member of Heritage Point Baptist Church where she was the assistant Sunday School teacher in the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class, and she was retired as a customer service representative with Big Lots in Dalton, Ga. Delilah enjoyed reading, she cherished her time with her family and grandchildren, and she loved her Lord and Savior with all of her heart.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Charles Horton, Sr.; parents, Robert Brown and Ruby Muse; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her children, Wanda (Beverly) Horton, Charles E. Horton, Jr., and Linda (Bill) Marcus; sister, Mary Merciers; grandchildren, Dustin (Ashton) Horton, Daniel (Sarah) Horton, Charla Horton, Lindsay (Gary) Lynn, William Marcus, Ronnie (Keisha) Fulton and Michelle Neal; fourteen great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Neal Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fuller Cemetery in Ider, Al.
