2nd & Charles opened its first Tennessee store on Thursday, bringing the popular book and pop culture shop to Oak Park Town Center. A family-friendly grand opening celebration will follow on Saturday, Oct. 30.
2nd & Charles sets itself apart from other retailers by offering a huge and ever-changing selection of both new and pre-owned items. With a constantly changing inventory of everything from books, manga, movies, and music to collectibles, decor, gaming equipment, and toys, the store is a destination for people with all kinds of interests and passions.
“We are so much more than a bookstore; we are a pop culture store,” said General Manager Jonathan Franks. “We can’t wait to see the faces of our new customers as they find old classics they love or discover new favorites.”
2nd & Charles also buys back gently used books, music, toys, games, and more in exchange for cash or store credit. This ensures that every visit will be an entirely new shopping experience.
“Our customers have a unique effect on our store through our buyback,” said Mr. Franks. “With us buying from our customers to fill our shelves, this store will soon be unique to Chattanooga as every store reflects local shoppers.”
2nd & Charles Chattanooga is at 5756 Highway 153 in Hixson’s Oak Park Town Center, near Petco and Marshalls. For updates, follow @2NCChattanooga.
