Thanksgiving Garbage And Recycle Collection And Site Schedule Announced

Garbage and Recycle collection scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, will be collected on Saturday. Garbage and Recycle scheduled for collection Friday will run as normal. 

The City of Chattanooga Recycling Collection Centers and Refuse Collection Centers will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Friday. They will reopen on Saturday. 
 
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility and the Wood Recycling Center will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, and will reopen on Saturday.
 
Additionally, the City Landfill located off  Birchwood Pike in Harrison, will be closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, and will reopen on Monday, Nov.
