Jonathan Paul Adams, 66, gained his wings and flew to heaven on the morning of November 16, 2021.

John grew up in Jasper, Tn., and he was a successful car salesman. More than anything, he loved the Lord and he never missed an opportunity to share his love for Jesus through song with his baritone voice whenever the church doors were open.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lila Adams, and brother, Douglas Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Lou Adams; beloved daughter, Paula (Jason) Richey (whom he claimed was his greatest achievement in life); stepchildren, Lysa Ainsworth, Susan Burns and Tommy (Sarah) Ogle; sisters, Dee (Fred) Schwarz and Elaine Southerland; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be planned for family and friends at a later date.
