Kevin Daniel Plemons, 41, of East Ridge, passed away on Wednesday November 24, 2021, at his home.  He was a member of East Ridge Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. 

 

Kevin was a graduate of Boyd Buchanan School. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Bryan College. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball team. Kevin was employed with the Tennessee Valley Authority in Human Resources.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara Plemons.

 

Survivors include his wife, Jenna Plemons; son, Garrett Plemons; daughter, Kathryn Plemons; step-mother, Cheryl Plemons; brother, Brent (Lisa) Plemons; two sisters, Tabitha (Bryant) Williams and Randi (Zach) Green; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Kathy Clements; sister-in-law, Carla (Alex) Rogers; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at East Ridge Church of Christ with Alan Pitchford and Charles Cochran officiating.  Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. 

 

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, and from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday at East Ridge church of Christ, 951 McBrien Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.

 

Pallbearers will be Justin Menees, Rick Williams, Josh Thurman, Nathan Barnes, Randall Webb and Keith Stephens.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the children’s education fund at Regions Bank or to East Ridge church of Christ and designated for the Plemons family.

 

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn.
