Epperson, Wilma Turner (Cleveland)

Wilma Turner Epperson went to be with the Lord on the morning of November 26, 2021 at the age of 81, in her home, with family by her side. She was born to the late Clyde and Dee Turner on Aug. 5, 1940. Wilma was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will always be remembered for her caring and generous nature.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian Epperson; brother, Gene Turner; sister-in-law, Diane Turner; daughter, Kay Vaughn; granddaughter, Kristy Vaughn; and grandson, Shane Hoskins.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Pam (Norman) Hoskins; brother, Charles Turner; brother, Bernie (Mary Frances) Turner; grandchildren, Shaun (Lyndsey) Epperson, Dustin (Janelle) Hoskins, Michael Hoskins, Michelle (Mike) Rymer and Amanda Vaughn; great-grandchildren, D.J. Hoskins, Logan Epperson, Brielle Epperson, Alexis Brown, Dakota Lewis, Bryson Vaughn and Brayden Vaughn; nieces, Beth (Shane) Cassida and Annie Turner; and special friends, Chasidy Hazelwood, Stacey Dixon and McKaylee Cross.

The family would like to especially thank Hearth Hospice, April Whitted and Amanda Pope for the loving care that was provided to Mrs. Epperson during her time of need.

A celebration of Wilma’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service. She will be laid to rest following the service at Fort Hill Cemetery. Pastor Shane Cassida will be officiating.
