Phyllis A. Avery Mosley, 81, of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in a Nashville hospital.
Mrs. Mosley was a member of the Trenton Church of Christ and was retired from Trenton Spinning Mills, following 25 years of service. She enjoyed travelling and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Avery; parents, Doc & Mildred Scruggs; son-in-law, Bobby Walker; and brother-in-law, Dan Gibbs.
Survivors include her husband, Johnie Mosley; children, Vicki Walker, Johnny “Bo” & Kim Avery, Shelia & Charles Tidwell, Jaime & Danny Ferguson and Amanda & Jeff Cowles; grandchildren, Shonda & Ed Long, Cody Walker, Tanner & Jessica Avery, Roland Ferguson, Justin Smith and Teagan Cowles; great-grandchildren, Tristen & Avery Butler and Jordan, Alea, Erik & Katie Long; great-great-granddaughter, Layla Long; and sisters, Joy & Leroy White and Donna Gibbs.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Minister Reid Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
