Becky Albertson
Becky Albertson, age 92, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at Wood Dale Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Jerry Albertson; her parents, Joe and Mary Womack Richardson; infant daughters, Peggy Diane Albertson and Joyce Ann Albertson; brothers Lafayette, Judd, Troy Richardson; sisters, DeEtte Johnson, Josie Stacy, Lucy Deal, and Lorene Ridley; brother-in-law, George Albertson; and sister-in-law, Mary Nell Hawkins.
Becky loved going to church, where she was a member at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. She loved living on the farm where she helped with all the jobs and tasks. She enjoyed having a vegetable garden and many flower gardens. Her other hobbies where sewing, painting, cooking, spending time with family camping and at their lake house.
She is survived by her children, Sally Albertson Brooker and Jimmy, Ricky and Debbie Albertson; grandkids, Casey Brooker Kyer and Eric, Jason, and Sharon Brooker; Carly Albertson Morrison and Matt, Chelsea Albertson Snerling and Dexter; great-grandkids, MaKray Kyer, MaLane Kyer, MaKara Kyer, Maggie Brooker, Jolie Albertson, Jase Brooker and Owen Morrison, Mila Snerling, and Trew Snerling; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Mullis officiating.
