Sarah Bullington, 87, of Cleveland, departed this life on Monday evening, February 15, 2021 at her residence. Born on Sept. 22, 1933 in Scottsboro, Al. to the late Jack and Lucille Rodgers, she lived the majority of her life in Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Duracell and enjoyed canning, cooking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bullington; daughter, Patti Davis; and sisters, Alice Miller and Mildred Brown.
Ms. Bullington is survived by her son, Mark Bullington; son-in-law, Ronnie Davis; grandchildren, Justin Bullington, Blake Bullington and Ashley Bullington (Micah Howard); great-grandchildren, Morgan Cleland, Kole Howard, Kase Howard, Karter Howard, Jackson Bullington and Ryder Bullington; sister, Mary Randolph-Dupuy; former daughter-in-law, Pamela Brown Wilson(Harry); and caregiver, Ivy McConell. Several nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.
A Celebration of Life and Homegoing for Sarah Lou Rodgers Bullington will be held at the graveside on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery.
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
