Hazel Neddo
Hazel Kline Neddo, age 100, of Sale Creek, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Chattanooga.
She was born on May 18, 1920, in South Bend, In., the daughter of the late William and Flora Dessie (Rish) Kline. Hazel was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis Jackson Neddo, son, Mike Neddo, granddaughter, Rachel Hatcher, 12 brothers and sisters, and son-in-law, Fred Kerr.
Hazel was a South Bend Central High School grad, class of 1938. She lived in South Bend, IN until 1950, at Bryan College in Dayton until 1954 and had been a resident of Sale Creek ever since. Hazel was a homemaker and a missionary to Cedine Ministries since 1955. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Sale Creek, Women of the Church at Sale Creek Presbyterian Church and Crackpots Bible Study. She was a member of the Sale Creek Independent Presbyterian Church since 1951.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Kerr of Columbia, SC, Faith (Hank) Hatcher of Peru, IN, Flora Gordon of Chattanooga and Carolee (Reggie) Luther of Columbus, GA; her sons, Jon (MeMe) Neddo of Raleigh-Durham, NC and Joel (Kwang Suk) Neddo of Knob Noster, MO; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Hazel will be held Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Cedine Bible Mission with Phil Zimmerman, Jon Neddo and Rev. Phil Evaul officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Cedine Bible Mission Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, Feb. 28, at 1:30 p.m. at Cedine Bible Mission. Social distancing is strongly encouraged, and face masks are recommended.
