Leona Rhoda Brown, 95, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Ridgewood Manor.
She was the daughter of the late, George Verlin and Radi Lou Emma Brown and was preceded in death by her sisters, Geneva Brown, Delona Dunn, Dorothy (Dot) Leonard; and a niece, Joyce Ann White.
Leona attended Glory Baptist Church.
She is survived her sister, Helen Louise Kizer; nieces and nephews, Mike Dunn, Debbie and Mathew Leonard, Kathy Morris, Alan King, Kim Stephens, David King, Laura Casper and Joseph King.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m.
