Reed Buckner, Sr., 84, of Cleveland, passed away on February 27, 2021. He was of the Christian faith and affiliated with the Church of God. Reed loved the Lord, church and gospel music. He enjoyed yardwork, gardening and porch sittin’ with family and friends. He never passed up an opportunity for a good trade of any kind. He enjoyed his retirement years, spending time with his loving wife of 64 years, kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Callie & John Buckner, brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Alda Buckner; son, Reed (Teresa) Buckner, Jr.; daughters, Barbara (Neal) Dover and Patricia (Ed) Rodden; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2 at The Tree of Life Church, with the service to begin at 6 p.m., with Pastor Russell Coffey officiating. Burial will be held at Conasauga Cemetery on Wednesday, March 3 at 11 a.m.
