Melissa Rogers, 63, of Dalton, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Emmaree Rogers and her 1st husband, James Ashford.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Amie and Allen Burchfield, Raquel Ashford, and Tana and Charles Pressley all of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Veronica Wells of Dalton, Pamela and Steve Moss of Dalton, and Linda and Terry Gibson of Tellico, TN; brothers and sister-in-law, Farrell and Becky Rogers of Chatsworth, Richard Rogers of Dalton, and Jonathan Rogers of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Dylan Dean, Valerie Dean, Brad and Jacob Burchfield, and Asa and Foxlyn Presley; nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Farrell Rogers, Sean Rogers, and Johnny Deal officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 31, from 5-8 p.m.
Burial will be in Burchfield Family Cemetery.
