Frank Jarrett
Frank Jarrett, Jr., was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on July 28, 1963. He was the son of Virginia and Frank Jarrett, Sr. He departed his life with his family by his side on February 25, 2021.
He was a graduate of Riverside High School, class of 1981. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roosevelt Knox, Jewell Knox, and Mamie Jarrett; uncle, Roosevelt Knox, Jr., John, and Katie Jarrett; aunts, Gloria Jones, Delores Jarrett, and Barbara Ann McReynolds.Frank Jr. will be truly missed by his parents, Virginia and Frank (Katie) Jarrett, Sr.; sisters, Sharon Jarrett, of Nashville Tennessee, Winona, Cordelia “Dee”, and Johanna Jarrett, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brothers, Vincent Lowe, Jamal Jarrett, and Walter Jackson, of Chattanooga Tennessee; aunts, Claytena Gore, Felicia, and Willie Mae Knox, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; uncle, Anthony (Lolita) Knox, of Nashville, Tennessee; special cousins, Cynthia Gore, Pam Coker, Alexis Kennemore, Crystal, and Jaelynn Knox, Aniya Ladd, Kevin Daniels, and Jerrod Bibbs; best friend, Sam Bulloch; friends, Vincent Roebuck, Gary Woods, Kevin Murray, Zach Goss, Luther Bibbs, Bay Brown, (of Alabama), Tyrone Tillson (brother), of North Carolina, Joe Fields, (brother) of New York, and Wendell Lowe, (brother), of Alaska, and Latonya Howard (sister); a host of other relatives and friends.A special thanks to his nurse, Janie Williams; caretakers, Sandra Bailey, and Eddie Sims. his loving sister, and caregiver, Frank, Jr., Angel, Cordelia “Dee” Jarrett; the ALS clinic, Hospice of Chattanooga, Aerocare, Deacon Melvin Kendrick, and Deacon Alphonso Overton of Greater Tucker Baptist Church.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, at the funeral home. A family funeral service will be held. The funeral service will be broadcast live beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, atwww.facebook.com/jpfchattanooga.
