Marilyn Odom
Marilyn Paris Odom passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, at a local hospital.
She was born on Aug. 28, 1953, in Memphis, Tn. She grew up in Chattanooga, and graduated from Riverside High School. She was an Army veteran and after her time in the service, she earned an associate's degree in Business from McKenzie College. She retired from TVA and later worked at Beacon Health at the CHI Memorial Physicians’ Office as a referral coordinator for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Lewis Paris and brother.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby Paris; three sisters and a brother. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also missed by family friends and treasured co-workers.
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her daughter, Erricka Hill and grandchildren, Connor Harrigan and Daniel Jaydin Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1200 Bailey Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
Full military honors will be conducted for Ms. Marilyn Paris Odom.
The family will receive friends from 12–1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
