McCallie Middle School Tennis Takes Win Over Dalton

At McCallie, Graham Gervin, George Robbins, Gokul Palanati, Gaurav Rathi, Willie Howard and Davis Bartow were winners in singles, and McCallie opened up the spring season with an 8-0 win over the Dalton Catamounts in middle school tennis.  The match of the day was at number 1 singles which lasted longer than the other singles matches plus all 4 doubles matches that were played.  In that match Graham Gervin fought back from an 8-7 deficit to win the tie-breaker 7-2 and the match 9-8.  Willie Howard, Davis Bartow, Isaac George and Vishnu Vardhana were also winners in doubles.  Number 1 doubles was not played because the number 1 singles match lasted so long.

The Blue Tornado B team also opened the Spring season by beating the Dalton B team 7-0.  Winning in singles and doubles were Isaac George, Vishnu Vardhana, Om Kapadia, Tristan Howard and Collin Levredge.  JD Gant was victorious in doubles.
