Regena Ann Medley
Regena Ann “Miss Ann” Medley, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
She was born on May 9, 1940, in Kentucky to the late Russell and Marie Friend.
She was affectionately known by many as “Miss Ann” and was a longtime member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church where she taught the three and four years olds for over 40 years. She had worked as a daycare provider at Concord Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Medley; two sisters; three brothers; and a great-granddaughter, Addicyn Grace Medley.
Survivors include her son, Mike Medley (Tresa Brown) of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Seth Medley (Abby) of Chattanooga; Whitney Shirley (Josh) of Rock Spring; Josh Medley (Lindsey) of Decatur, Tn.; great-grandchildren, Lucy and Lottie Medley, Aiden Shirley, and Kaleb Medley.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 20, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. at Brainerd Hills Baptist Church, 6611 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Dr. John Barber officiating.
She will be laid to rest with her husband Wednesday, April 21, at 1 p.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
