Lenora Loretta Hitson Patterson
Lenora Loretta Hitson Patterson, age 85, born August 26, 1935, received her full healing as she went to her heavenly home, Friday, April 16, 2021.
She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. She was always encouraging and helpful. She enjoyed and loved all of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Dalton Hitson and Horace Hitson; husband, Robert F. Patterson Jr.; several brothers and sisters; Ollie Dalton, Billy Dalton, Thomas Dalton, Della Vina Pierce, Lynn Dalton, Glen Dalton; and son-in-law, Russell Torbett.
She is survived by her two children, son, Robert E. Patterson and Gina of Cleveland, and daughter, Terry L. Patterson Torbett; grandchildren, Hannah Patterson, Max Patterson, Russell Torbett, Nicholas Torbett and Sarah, Justin Torbett and Katlin; great-grandchildren, Titus, Urijah, Wyatt, Jayden, Paige, Gunner, Khloe, and Jonathan; brother Kenneth Dalton and Kathleen; and several nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Josh Cornelius officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Max Patterson, Russell Torbett, Nicholas Torbett, and Justin Torbett serving as pallbearers. The playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 19, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
