Beatrice J. “Froogie” Starr, 76, passed away on April 18, 2021, in Chattanooga.

Beatrice resided in the Park City community all her life. She was a graduate of Howard High School, class of 1962. 

She retired from the Chattanooga Department of Public Works after 28 years of service. She was a faithful member of the World Restoration Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Jordan and Clara Lloyd; son, Antonio Starr. 

Beatrice leaves to cherish her memories, son, Reginald (Holly) Jordan, Sr; grandsons Reginald Jordan, Jr., Vincente (Ashley) Jordan, and Antonio Sparks; granddaughter, Aurelya Taylor Graves; three great-grandchildren; dear friends, Darrene Watson, Rose Mary Geiger, and Meace Jones; a host of other relatives, family, and friends.

Public view viewing will be at 2-6 p.m. on Friday, April 30, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, at the New Hope Baptist Church, 3777 Wilcox Blvd.

Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
