Walker County Water & Sewerage Authority To Resume In-Person Board Meetings

  • Monday, April 19, 2021
The board of directors for Walker County Water and Sewerage Authority will resume in-person public meetings in May. The board suspended in-person meetings to virtual meetings nearly a year ago, in order to continue to conduct business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In-person board meetings will be held at the Chickamauga Civic Center, 1817 Lee Clarkson Road in Chickamauga, through the end of the year. Along with providing additional space for those in attendance to socially distance, a pending construction project at the WCWSA office building in Flinstone necessitated the temporary move.

The WCWSA board meets at 6 p.m.
on the second Tuesday of each month. The next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 11.
