Leamon, Thomas Joe (Cleveland)

Thomas Joe Leamon, 83, passed away April 16, 2021 in Cleveland. He enjoyed playing the fiddle to country music. He also enjoyed communication on CB radio under the handle of Joy Rider. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Bradley County. He was of the Baptist faith and knew the Lord.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bessie Leamon; mother and father-in-law, Stiles Mary McCarter; three brothers; seven sisters; four nephews; three nieces; three step-children; and two sisters-in-law.

Survivors include wife of 59 years, Juanita Leamon, of Cleveland; son, Jim Leamon, of Georgia; daughter, Debbie Leamon, of Cleveland; step-son, Kenneth Healey, of Cleveland; one grandson; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Leamon, of Cleveland and Katherine Mason; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be on Monday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with Pastor Jack Epperson officiating. Interment will follow in Tasso Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday, April 18 from 6-8 p.m.
