Eugene “Country Boy” Cobbins, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

 

He sang with the Gospel Keynotes and traveled for many years across the country taking the gift of music.

 

Mr. Cobbins ran Country Boy Transportation and Genie Smell Good Janitorial Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Fellowship Church for more than 45 years.

 

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; Norman and Willie B. Cobbins; grandson, Raheem Blunt.

 

He leaves to cherish his memories, son; Eugene Cobbins, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Lloyd; partner, Claudette Burford; eight grandchildren; eight brothers; two sisters. 

 

Public viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, at the funeral home chapel.

 

Funeral services will be held Friday and Saturday in Winona, Ms., at the Roberts and Sons Mortuary, 524 Greensboro Street, Winona, Ms.

 

Local arrangements are by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
