Joyce Ann Sneed O’Neal
Joyce Ann Sneed O’Neal, 79, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
She was born in Cleveland, Tn. on Sept. 26, 1941 to the late Charles Franklin and Bessie Lee Hickman Sneed.
She was preceded in death by husband, Roger O’Neal of Ocoee, TN; sister, Mary Elizabeth Knott of North Little Rock, AR; brother, Verlin Sneed of Cleveland, TN; god-grandson, Michael Dale Tinsley of Cleveland, TN; and god-great-granddaughter, Zoey Marie Tinsley of Cleveland, TN.
She is survived by her daughter, Katherine O’Neal of Cleveland, TN; sister, Betty (Ken) Black of Vicksburg, MS, Ralph (Linda) Sneed of Cleveland, TN; god-great-grandchildren, Zander Dale and Kaylee LaRae Tinsley of Cleveland, TN; and nieces and nephews, Stephen (Fina) Sneed of Aliso Viejo, CA, Beth (Dale) Sneed of Buford, GA, Michael (Ann) Black of Jackson, MS, Jeff (Christy) Knott of Joelton, TN, Carla (German) Torrijos of Fayetteville, AR, and Chris (Gabi) Black of Kirkwood, MO
She lived a long and loving life and was loved very much by family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 23, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kinzel Hooker officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland Shed Cemetery with Jeff Knott (nephew), Charlie Knott (brother-in-law), Ralph Sneed (brother), Ken Black (brother-in-law), Chuck Ellis (special family friend), and Dale Dodson (special family friend) serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
