Freddie Bailey
With his family at his side, the Lord called Freddie “Frog” H. Bailey to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
Freddie was a resident of Jasper, TN where he lived with his wife, Bernice Bailey for the past 43 years. He was born on February 8, 1938 to the late John and Hazel Bailey. Freddie had been employed with U.S. Pipe for over 44 years as a crane operator.
He loved his family, adored his dog named “Little Girl”, enjoyed spending time in the mountains along with coon and squirrel hunting. During his lifetime he had attended various Baptist and Church of God churches.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel Fletcher Bailey; son, Lebron Bailey; brother, Johnny E. Bailey and grandson, Matthew Ellis.
He leaves his beloved memories to his wife, Bernice Henry Bailey; son, Terry Slatton; daughters, Debra Dotson and Tammy Roden; grandchildren, Grant and Greg O’Rear, Cody and Zach Bailey, Trevor and Tyler Slatton, Hailey and Maddie Bailey and Angel Davis along with several great-grandchildren and cherished friends.
The family will have public visitation on Thursday, April 22, from 2-8 p.m. CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tn.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home at 2 p.m. CT on Friday, April 23, at 2 p.m. CT with Pastor Kenneth Conway officiating.
Freddie will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker, GA.
