Notre Dame’s CJ Petrin, the 2021 D-II Individual Champion has been named to the 2021 Tennessee Sports Writer Association All-State Bowling Team. He was joined by Caleb Kelly of Boyd Buchanan on the D-II team. Kelly finished third in this past season’s state championships.
Petrin rolled a 224 in the championship match to defeat fellow honoree Brian Donleavy of Briarcrest. Donleavy had earlier bested the Bucs’ Kelly by a score of 178-160 to move ahead on the championship ladder.
Walker Valley’s Jacob Brown was named in the Division I category.
Brown was the runner-up in the 2021 individual championships, losing to state champ Devean Littlejohn of Hardin valley in the finals by a score of 238-197 after qualifying in the top position with an average of 218.3.
