Beatriz Graham
Beatriz Mercedes Osorio Herazo Graham, 72, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Beatriz immigrated to Tallahassee, Fl., at the age of 22 where she resided until moving to Chattanooga in 2014.
She was a courageous and determined woman, first teaching herself English, putting herself through school and then spent her career working in accounting for several legal firms in Tallahassee. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee and then St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga.
She was an active volunteer throughout her life including working with migrants, creating prayer quilts and most recently she adored her time as a NICU cuddlier at Erlanger East.
She loved dancing, exercising, and gardening, but her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, José Agustín Herazo Fernández and Ignacia Osorio de Herazo, and her sister, Gilma Rosa Herazo Osorio.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dr. Jessica Graham (Jeff) Scotchie, Chattanooga and Elizabeth Graham (Adrian) Davis, Atlanta; four grandchildren, Claire Elizabeth Scotchie, William Thomas Scotchie, Adrian Graham Davis, and Madison Elizabeth Davis; two brothers, José Roberto Herazo Osorio, and Jaime Enrique Herazo Osorio; several nieces, nephews, and many extended family members.
A private family service will be held Saturday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with the Reverend Brad Whitaker officiating, assisted by the Reverend Joe Woodfin.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 30, from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
