Angela Rena Gholston Guy, 56, of Dunlap, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. She was a loving daughter, mother and Nana. She loved to travel and loved to play Solitaire and computer games. She loved to argue with her son-in-law, Randy Phillips, and always loved to boss Bobby around.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Ray Gholston; sister, Valerie Morgan Farmer; step-father, John Morgan; and step-mother, Margie Gholston.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Bobby Myers; mother, Betty Dennis Morgan; children, Greg (Jodie) Sims, Tiffany (Randy) Phillips, LeBron (Danielle) Hobbs and Matthew (Kristen) Hobbs; siblings, Donald (Valerie) Gholston, Cynthia (Steve) Hicks, Mary Ann Morgan, Roy Morgan, Skeeter Gholston, Michael (Lea) Gholston, Johnny (Angie) Morgan, Cindy Kilgore and Larry (Judy) Kilgore; grandchildren, Kristen Sims, Stephen Sims, Kaylea Sims, Jocelyn Cook, Alina Sims, Bella Phillips, Brix Phillips, Brooklynne Hobbs, Randalynne Hobbs, Brayden Hobbs and Baby Hobbs due in December; great-grandson, Thomas Luke Martin; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 13 at 1 p.m. at John M. Hixson Cemetery, with Bro. James Dunn officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ewton Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
