Theresa “Terry” Marie Honaker, 81, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021, at her home.

She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church and a member of the church choir. Theresa was also interior church decorator and wedding coordinator. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; she loved taking care of her babies and knitting blankets for friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Adora Dighero; sister, Sylvia Lunder; and brothers, Tom Dighero, Eugene Dighero, and Paul Dighero.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard “Bernie” Honaker, Jr. of Cleveland; children, Jane Marie Bearden (Richard) of Cleveland, Anna Marie McManamay (Steve) of Atlanta, and Aaron Louis Honaker (Tiffany) of Cleveland; grandchildren, Trista Welch, Tiffeney Hope Marie Long (Nathan) all of Cleveland, Adora Ann Isabella Dillard (Corey) of Atlanta, and Lily Louicella Honaker of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Cressida Welch, Xander Welch, Easton Long, and Eli Long; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Stacie Waldrop.

Her family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 17, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Nathan Long, Richard Bearden, Steve McManamay, Corey Dillard, John Honaker, Jr., and Daniel Flowers serving as pallbearers.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family has requested that all guests wear masks.
