Crate Late Model racer Jeremy Holtzclaw of Sparta, Tn. lost his two year battle with cancer Tuesday morning, reports family on the his Facebook page.
The 41-year-old had recently completed at the United Championship Racing Alliance - UCRA "Bama Brawl" in February and was leading the race coming to the checkered flag when he blew a tire on the back straightaway.

The UCRA is a tight knit of race teams that help one another off the track, but yet are very competitive during the races.
UCRA Red Line Synthetic Oil champion Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland has reached out with his condolences, as has many others around the region.
Information on funeral services haven't been released.
