C.L. Coker
C.L. Coker, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Roselle Coker; brother, Vernon Coker; sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Harold Kinnamon; and brother-in-law, Loyd Bryant.
Mr. Coker was the former owner of Mid-South Metal Works and loved engineering and crafting with metal and wood. He also enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes, fishing, and traveling with family.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Sue Coker; two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Joe Singleton of Chatsworth and Jane and Chris Harm of Marietta; sister, Irene Bryant of Dalton; sister-in-law, Hazel Coker of Dalton; and grandchildren, Christopher (Bennett) Singleton, Jacob Singleton, Peyton Harm and Reid Harm.
A graveside service for Mr. Coker will be held Friday, May 7, at 2 p.m. at Dailey Hill Cemetery in Ringgold.
