Kenneth Robert Crowder
Kenneth Robert Crowder, age 71 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, May 6, 2021, at a local hospital.
He was born Oct. 11, 1949 in Copper Hill, Tn., a son of the late Alphus Noah and June Dockery Crowder. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jake Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Helen Burgess Crowder of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Cale Robert and Jill Crowder of Drakesboro, KY, Anthony and Teresa Thomas of Rocky Face, GA, Mark and Paula Rogers of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Marenda and Gary Rogers of Eton, GA; sister, Sharon Crowder of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Hannah Crowder, Emily Crowder, Will Crowder, Hannah Thomas, Tanner Thomas, Jordian Tipton, Austin Cochran, Keith Long, Brinsleigh Rogers, Graceland Rogers; and great-grandchildren, Ella Tipton, Willow Cochran.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Kenneth Robert Crowder will be held Sunday, May 9, at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend James Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday.
Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
