Karen Gail “Lee” Huskey, our firecracker, born on July 4, 1954, from Ooltewah, Tennessee, left her earthly life on June 9, 2021, and entered the gates of Heaven to be reunited with her Dad and Mom, Fred and Audrey Lee, and be forever with her Savior and Lord.

She left behind her loving husband and caregiver, Richard Huskey, her sister and best friend, Denise Lee and brother Marcus (Sara) Lee.  Her daughter, Ashleigh Massingill (TJ) and three grandchildren who were the love of her life, Lexi, Addison and Carston; two step-children, Amber Read, (Tori and Emma) and Paul Huskey, (Gavin and Keaton), and one special cousin, Arianna Biggs and her fur baby, Bendi.

She previously co-owned Jantech Cleaning Services with her husband and served as treasurer for over 15 years with McDonald Cemetery Association. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church serving in Junior Church when her health allowed.

Karen was so loved by everyone and had a heart of gold.  She made hundreds of afghans over the years for babies and adults and scarves for the homeless.

Thanks to Dr. Davey Daniels with Tennessee Oncology and Dr. Brad Sundstrom, DMD for their tender care of Karen.  She made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
