Vickey Gilbert Booth
Vickey Gilbert Booth, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2021.
She was the middle child of Harold Dean Gilbert and Jeanne Ellis Carter, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Mitchell Ellis Gilbert, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ellis, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gilbert and Mr. and Mrs. P.D. Booth and the father of her children, David Booth.
She is survived by her loving children, Ashley (Jeremy) Stryker, Aaron (Heather) Booth, beloved grandson, Christopher Gage Brown, sister, Lynne Gilbert Nelson, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and extended family members.
Vickey was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, her love of gardening and landscaping led her to a career with The Barn Nursery and Ensign’s Florist. She most recently had been a loyal employee of Lowe’s for the last 15 years, working in various capacities, including kitchen cabinet design.
Visitation and a celebration of Vickey’s life will be on Saturday, June 12, from 2-5 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Vickey’s honor to McKamey Animal Center, HES, or a favorite charity.
