Johnson, Douglas "Doug" Lamont (LaFayette)

Douglas “Doug” Lamont Johnson, 62, of LaFayette, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Pegg; and grandson, Damon Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Johnson; children, Dustin Johnson, Derek Johnson, Ashley Byrd, Dillion Johnson, and Megan Johnson; five grandchildren; father, Denny Johnson; dad, Vernon Pegg; sisters, Lynn Otting and Robin Parm; and several nieces also survive.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Bryan Bird, Chance Bird, D.J. Bird, Aaron Careathers, Mario Porter, and Rusty Ballinger.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 p.m.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
