Evelyn Marie Haire
Evelyn Marie Haire, 78, a lifelong resident of Bradley County, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday afternoon, June 18, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Virgil Bishop and Rosa Maples Bishop. Her husband, Cecil Edward Haire also preceded her in death along with her four siblings, Georgette Smith, Virgil Bishop Jr., Jack Bishop and Margine Stepp.
Evelyn was retired from Flowers Bakery and was a member of Family Worship Center of Cleveland. She enjoyed spending time listening to classic country music and spending time cultivating in her flower garden. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she especially loved caring for her great-grand-dog Gizmo.
Evelyn is survived by one daughter, Kathy Davis of Old Fort; one granddaughter, Amanda Long and her husband George of Benton; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Long of Benton; one niece, Teresa Ellison of Cleveland; and her very dear and special friend, Charles B. Moses of Cleveland.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 21, from 4-8 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, Wildwood Avenue Chapel.
A Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and interment will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Bishop Shane Calhoun officiating.
