Andrew “Andy” Quarles, 88, of Lookout Valley, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Quarles was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Combustion Engineering following 40 years of service. A member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church, Andrew enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time with his family and going to the mall. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie & Frances Quarles; brothers, Gearl, Garlon and Orbie Lee Quarles; sister, Ellon Quarles; and son-in-law, Ed Krantz.

Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Rachel Louise Quarles; daughter, Melinda Krantz, of Wray, Co.; son, Greg (Cindy) Quarles, of Georgetown, Tn.; grandchildren, Kara (Thomas) Barnett, Cecilia Jones, Taylor Krantz, Amber (Travis) Worley, Lucretia Breedlove and Waylon Breedlove; and great-grandchildren, Kaedyn Worley, Levi Worley and Maren Barnett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 23 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Troy Walliser officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.
