Scott Lee Williams, 68, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 in a local hospital.

Scott was born in Wichita, Ks. and was preceded in death by his father, Jack Williams.

He was a truck driver most of his life. He was very musical and was awarded a scholarship to college for his tuba playing. He was also very good with the bass guitar. Scott played in many bands including the School Bus Band.

Survivors include his partner in living, Rita Carter of Cleveland; Rita's daughter, Tia Hamby; Tia's daughters whom they called Scott, "Grandpa", Madesyn and Ryleigh Hamby all of Cleveland; mother, Carol Williams also of Cleveland; sisters, Jan McCarthan (Tom) of Washington, Penny Casey (Ed) of South Carolina; and three nieces, one nephew and aunts, uncles and cousins.

There are no formal services now for the family.

Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
