Clarence “Bud” Ira Kennedy, 68, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Willard and Bessie Kinser Kennedy; sisters: Bonnie Sue Ricker, Martha Ann Patterson, Becky Kennedy; brothers: Ricky Kennedy, John Kennedy.

He is survived by his daughters: Jamie Carter, Samantha Aytes, both of Wartburg, Tn.; brother: Doug Kennedy of Louisville, Ky.; sisters: Maxine Stokes, Mildred Borden, Mary Ruth Kennedy, Pat Kennedy, all of Decatur; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 10, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Irvin Taylor officiating.

Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services is honored to serve the Kennedy Family.
