Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Stephen Lyle Patton, 62, of Trenton, passed away on Sunday, June 6. He was of the Baptist faith and a lifetime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Recently retired from a career in the postal service, he enjoyed playing golf, cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs and doting on his two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny F. Patton, Sr. and Mable Faye Jones Patton, and his brother, Benny F. Patton, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Robin Bedwell Patton; children, Megan (Kevin) Baugh and Ben (Ashley) Patton; grandchildren, Brooke and Kristen Baugh; sister, Anita (Gary) Gritton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 10 in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home, with Reverend Jared Gritton officiating. Interment will be in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
