Judy Bowman, 69, of Dayton, passed away on June 4, 2021. She was a lifelong resident of Birchwood, and of the Baptist faith. Judy loved selling produce, drinking coffee and completing word search puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Bowman, Jr.; husband, Leslie Junior Bowman; father, William H. Godfrey; stepmother, Lois Ann Freeman; mother, Estelle Godfrey; sisters, Helen Sue Prince and Nancy Marie Vassey; and brother, William Godfrey, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, William (Crystal) Preston Bowman and Wade (Christy) Allen Bowman; fur baby, Petey Bowman; sisters, Kim (Charles) Davis and Wanda (Kenneth) Evans; brother-in-law, Donald Prince (Angie) Evans; grandchildren, Cheyene Bowman, Charity Bowman and Alex Bowman; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Wednesday, June 9 at Companion Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel at noon, with Pastor Lowell Hicks, officiating, Burial will be held at Johnson Cemetery.
