J. L. Howard, 86, of Cleveland, passed away July 11, 2021, at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wesley Howard & Delia Mae Copeland Howard; one brother; two sisters; and stepson, Mitchell Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Billie Howard; daughters, Tammy (Kenneth) Hadorn and Tracy (Michael) Arp; stepson, Rick (Linda) Martin; two sisters; grandchildren, Brandon Hadorn, Billy McClanahan, Brittany (Jason) York, Tiffany (Ammons) Rattler and Paige Luster; great-grandchildren, Winter McClanahan and Summer Rain Rattler; very special friend, Tim Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 at Companion Funeral Home, with the service to begin at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
