Prep Football Jamboree To Include 23 Teams

Three Night Event Set For August 12-14 At Finley Stadium

In less than one month, 23 teams will take to the field in the annual jamboree presented by Chattanooga Sports. The event will take place at Finley Stadium and is set for August 12th, 13th and 14th . For the first time in its history, the Jamboree will take place over a three-night period instead of two.

Teams making their debut in this event include South Pittsburg, Marion County, Lookout Valley and includes the return of Silverdale Baptist Academy. There will be seven quarters of action on Thursday and eight quarters of play on Friday and Saturday. Admission will be $10 each day.

Intriguing matchups include Marion County and East Ridge on Thursday night, while Cleveland plays Ooltewah and McCallie to close out the night on Friday. South Pittsburg makes their entrance on Saturday against Red Bank and Bradley. East Hamilton, Notre Dame, Baylor and Walker Valley play the late games that night..

The event will also feature several college prospects, including Boyd Buchanan’s Karson Gay who is one of the state’s highest rated recruits and a University of Virginia commitment. Rico Tremble from Red Bank, Kenzy Powell from McCallie and Trey McDonald from Baylor will also show why college recruiters are coming to the Scenic City in droves to watch them play. South Pittsburg will bring three-star defensive line and University of Tennessee commitment Gio Davis.
