Robert Wynn
Robert C. Wynn, Sr., 74, was born on October 23, 1946, in Chattanooga, and died on July 15, 2021.
He was a 1966 graduate of Riverside High School and retired from Ross-Meehan Foundry.
Robert was of the Baptist faith. He loved people and never met a stranger. His family meant everything to him. He had a passion for playing cards and dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florida and Harris Wynn, Sr.; brothers, Otis Wynn and Waverly Hill; sisters, Mae Kathryn Watson and Minnie L. Smith; son, Robert C. Wynn, Jr. (Pre’Ne).
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his daughters, Elizabeth “Angel”, Eugenia, and Keaira Wynn, of Chattanooga; son, Eric Wynn of Chattanooga; eleven siblings, James Hill, Albert Wynn of Cleveland, Ohio, Harris Wynn, Jr., Samuel Wynn, of Chattanooga, Juanita Thomas, of Cleveland, Ohio, Linda Anderson, of Antioch, Tennessee, Mozell (Thomas Jones) Roseberry, Ernestine Stewart, Marie McCallie, Theresa Burse, Cassandra (Clifford) Pillows, of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren, Robin Johnson, Norquita Wynn, Alexeus Ross Jar’ques and Quinnyah Howard, Bre’Ari and Sevyn Wynn; nine great grandchildren; a devoted ex-wife, Elizabeth S. Wynn, of Chattanooga; stepdaughters, Tonya Pitmon, of Huntsville, Alabama, Danyell Cook, of Chattanooga; other relatives and dear friends.
Public viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, July 23, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held from 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
